We are looking for an HR Manager to work from our Denmark or Canada office. In this role, you get broad ownership of day-to-day HR work while helping managers and employees navigate different stages of the employee journey. You will work in an international environment and have room to develop HR practices as Cadmatic continues to grow. You will report directly to the Chief People Officer.
What you will work on
Own and develop HR processes across the employee journey, from onboarding and employment changes to development and offboarding
Partner closely with managers on people matters and provide practical HR guidance for their everyday leadership work
Manage employee relations topics and support fair, consistent HR practices
Coordinate employment matters and ensure HR practices follow applicable legislation, policies and agreements
Drive performance and development processes and help managers turn them into useful conversations with their teams
Contribute to compensation and benefits processes and related HR activities
Develop HR policies, guidelines and ways of working as the company grows internationally
Work closely with colleagues across the People team and other functions on company-wide people initiatives
Use HR data and employee feedback to identify areas where our people practices can be improved
Support a positive employee experience and an open, respectful working culture
What helps you succeed in this role
Solid experience in a broad HR role, ideally in an international company
Good knowledge of Finnish employment legislation and the confidence to apply it to practical HR situations
Experience advising managers and handling employee relations matters independently
A hands-on approach and the ability to move comfortably between everyday HR topics and longer-term development work
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the confidence to work with people across different roles and countries
Good judgement, discretion and the ability to handle confidential matters professionally
Fluent English and Finnish
